Gaetan Giannini

Gaetan Giannini is an Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Department of Business, Management and Economics at Cedar Crest College, as well as a sales and marketing consultant and writer. "Marketing Public Relations: A Marketer's Approach to Public Relations and Social Media," published by Pearson-Prentice Hall is a ground breaking book based on the class, Applied Public Relations that he created for Cedar Crest's marketing program.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Temple University and an MBA from Seton Hall University, Gaetan worked for a small company before moving to a multi-national firm, Solartron (originally a division of Schlumberger, recently purchased by Emerson), where he managed 45 regional sales personnel for the Eastern United States and Canada. After several years of traveling with Solartron, Gaetan started his own business and marketing consulting firm, Giannini O’Connor LLC. Gaetan serves on the Board of Directors for the Small Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Council (LVEDC). In 2003, he was selected by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal as one of the top 20 business people under the age of 40.

Gaetan is married and has two sons. His wife, Crystal, is a physical therapist for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital. His sons, Jacob and Jason, are avid sports enthusiasts who participate in football and baseball. In his free time, Gaetan enjoys coaching youth baseball and cooking.
